    HOW TO CALCULATE THE PRICE FOR FLAT WIRE

    Example: 14K yellow 2mm x 1.5mm x 2'
    1. Locate the weight per foot on the chart above: (14K 2mm x 1.5mm) = 7.54 dwt
    2. Multiply the desired length in ft by the weight per ft: 2' x 7.54 dwt = 15.08 dwt
    3. Multiply the weight by the quantity bracket price located on the karat gold schedule:
      15.08 dwt falls in the 10 - 25 dwt rate for 14K yellow wire = $14.75 (@ $400 market)
      15.08 dwt x $14.75 = $223.43

    SIZING WIRE SPECIFICATIONS

      Sizing wire is supplied in 1' lengths unless otherwise requested. The minimum quantity for gold, platinum, and palladium is 1" for stock sizes and 3" for special order sizes.

    WIRE TEMPER

      Our sizing wire and bezel wires are provided in soft temper. Soft temper wire is annealed after the finished wire size is reached. Hard temper can be provided upon request in square wire and in some of the flat stock sizes. Our 22K bezel is shipped with temper unless otherwise requested. Annealed metal will appear dull until polished.
